KOOKAÏ’s charity arm, Katalyst Foundation, have launched an appeal in support of the victims of tropical cyclone Winston – the category 5 storm that devastated the Fiji Islands on the 20th and 21st February 2016.
Being the biggest storm ever recorded in the Southern Hemisphere, parts of Fiji have been left completely decimated, with whole villages destroyed and urgent access to medical care, food, water and shelter being a priority.
Personally touched by the disaster, KOOKAÏ are appealing to all in an effort to help the Fijian people by collecting donations, however large or small, through their Rebuild Fiji Appeal.
The appeal is being held in collaboration with the Melbourne University Health Initiative who will be collecting all donations received through the appeal and using the funds to buy urgent supplies, including:
Diapers and baby formula
