June’s nearly over? Julying! It’s hard to believe that we’ve almost passed the halfway mark for 2017. Maybe you need to get yourself back onto the healthy bandwagon or perhaps wish to sail through winter unscathed. Either way here are some tried and tested ways to protect yourself from the harsh winter elements and come out the other end fighting fit for spring!
Eat the Rainbow
Immune-boosting antioxidants in brightly coloured fruits and veggies battle the free radicals that dampen your natural defences. Eat plenty and in particular lots and lots of berries (the brighter the hue, the higher the antioxidant count).
Fend off Dracula
Garlic contains a therapeutic ingredient called allicin, which is produced when raw garlic is crushed. It’s also super flavoursome and easy to add to an array of meals.
